Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) / Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD)
Buying residential properties in Singapore are subjected to these different types of stamp duties. This is based on the taking over, buying or selling of properties as follows:
- Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD)
- Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty (ABSD)
- Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD)
Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD) is paid on the taking over or buying of any properties type in Singapore. There are different Buyer’s Stamp Duty rates in residential properties and this is greatly dependent on the number of residential properties that you have.
